The project concerns the construction of various types of steel structures at the new crude distillation unit we performed on behalf of Technipetrol Hellas at the refinery of Motor Oil Hellas at Agioi Theodori, Korinthos.

Our contract included the study of all connecting nodes, the design, the prefabrication of steel components of the project (pipe racks, shelters, platforms, staircases, etc.), the anti-corrosion protection to resist petrol-chemical environment, as well as the design and supply of all galvanized grating.

The weight of the steel structure was approximately fifteen hundred tons while three thousand square meters of galvanized grating were required.

The project was completed within three hundred and sixty days. An important feature of the project was that all structures should abide to the highest standards of quality and that the documentation of the quality data was very thorough.
